Positive dog training for happy dogs and happy owners
because dog training should be fun
Thanks for all your advice, the lessons were great. Also, thought I would let you know that we had instant success with your advice of stopping Dobby barking while we eat. We have him sit on his bed with or without a bone, and he does not bark at us!! Seems happy just to lie there with us. Thanks again, Rachel and Flynn
Cobby is going well; he is being exercised every day, a nice run in the morning and likes to sleep for the rest of the day! He seems to have relaxed a bit and kids are armed with treats and how to behave around the dog. Obviously he is maturing and getting better in his old age. Behaving well at the park and coming back when he's asked to, yay! So far, so good. Thanks for your expert tips! Talk soon Tania
Thank you so much. It has only been 2 nights but Brent and I feel human again. We have put him back in his crate (he has been out of it for 4 weeks). We have been waking him up at 6am. We have increased training just before bed and put him in a smaller darker place to sleep. Not sure which one worked but we are sticking to it. Thanks again the well rested van Vuuren family
Having a Labrador puppy can be a bit of a challenge at times. We had done a lot of research prior to buying a puppy and were well aware that the first 4 months of Cooper's life would have significant impact on his nature forever. The five week Goodog course provided real life scenarios for the puppies (and owners) to experience in a controlled environment. We could see Cooper's confidence grow and our bond develop throughout the course. We enjoyed and got so much out of the course that we enrolled in the Goodog advanced course to continue training. Lorna and Barbara were excellent with their training techniques and we now have a confident puppy that is a pleasure to take out with us.
